transplant some of the verdant desert this would be Beverly Hills. we drove up and up and up thru winding narrow roads and never did we see a Movie Star or what might have been their Homes. Anyway back Home for Supper of Hamburg-Beets-White Turnips-Hot Dogs. Carrotts- Mashed Potatoes and Coffee. After supper played Poker w/Kay and Bob and the Mullen luck held true to form. He cleaned up. Kay off to the Hospital for work at 10:30. Continued playing until 12 M and off to bed.

Thought it a good idea to get the boys out of the ladies hair today particularly where Kay was obligated to drive some Girl Scouts to the Knotts Berry Farm. She came home from work at 7:30 - slept until 8:30 and took off with the car to pick up her quota. The boys and I took the 9:05 bus-2 tokens for 25c and got into Long Beach about 9:30. Prowled all over the town looking over the Movies and finally settled for Davy Crockett and Abbot & Costello in the "Mummy". Show stared at 10:45- paid 50c for
