buy duplicates to carry me along and write to Bob to ship the bag home. We overslept and didn't get out until after 8AM. Had breakfast in the Big Hand Restaurant and then took off for Zion National Park. This place was so interesting that one could spend a month here taking in the various guided Tours by a Ranger. We didn't have but 4 hours to see what we could and the following post card pictures will have to tell the story as best they can. All I can say is that I am very happy we didn't pass it up. Maybe sometime in the future we can arrange for more time to spend going thru it.
We finally left at about 4PM and drove to Salt Lake City where we had some difficulty finding a Motel as most had No Vacancies. Finally landed in the Travelers Motel - very mediocre. Left there in the morning at 9 AM. Drove directly to Temple Square where the main Mormon Temple is now and arrived just in time to join a tourist group going thru. Again Visitors were not allowed in the Temple but were conducted thru the Tabernacle pictures of which are enclosed. They claim to have a group of 5000 missionaries all over the world and are constantly growing. They have an interesting story regarding the revelation to the Founder Joseph Smith which is also enclosed.
