Plow Boy

 Up at 7:00 AM w/Bob waiting for Kay to come home to go shopping at the Plow Boy in preparation for tomorrow's trip to Santa Barbara. Kay came home at 7:45 only to find out that Plow Boy doesn't open until 9:00 AM. Gradually the house woke up - first the kids and then in desperation the ladies get up. So breakfast is all over and we're ready to take off at 9:15. Plans are to come back - Kids to the playground - Kay to Bed- back from playground - take kids and lunch to the beach for probably the last time.

Helen and Gladys come along also but with the intention to shop the stores at Belmont Shore. We had planned that they should meet us at the Beach at 3:00PM and we would all come home together. But Oh Brother what happened in the intervening time is one for the Log. I continued on the Beach with the six kids and about 3:30 started to get them out of the water and dried up so we could be ready for the Ladies and get home to get supper started.
