Tuesday July 26th

Everybody up at 8 AM except the ladies and it takes a stick of dynamite to get them up. Solved this by sending the youngsters in until they had no choice but to get up. Meantime Kay is getting the lunch ready - Bob scrounged around for extra ice for the Picnic Freezer - Kids getting dressed and the house picked up and with all this excitement Pink sits at the table getting the Log up to date. Bob is taking the day off to be with us - it's now 9:15 and we should be out of here by 9:30 to see what Disneyland has to offer.

Left the house at 10:50 and reached Disneyland about 10:30. They have an entrance same as on the Turnpike where they collect 25c for a parking charge. For those that park distant from the park they have a Mule Train. This consists of 4 or 5 cars and they pick you up and take you to the gate. The same way going out and home. No particular lines at the admission booths where we paid $1 for grown-ups and 50c for children. So there we were at last inside of Disneyland. We had inquired about Picnic Areas and there were none so that presented another problem. We followed a plan of walking on the left side and seeing what there was to see and do before we decided what the youngsters could take in or not. Bought a Souvenir Program enclosed herewith and tried to cover everything, which I think
