doll and Gladys had the whole double bed to herself. Both rooms were air conditioned and for me it was too cool so much so that when I got up at 5 AM I had to turn it off. It so happened that the Marshall Fair Grounds were not far from the motel so after I took a shower the kids and I took a walk over to watch the fireworks put on by the local American Legion. We paid a quarter to sit in the grandstand and they got quite a beat out of them. They filled upon Snow Cones and popcorn and luckily it didn't upset their stomachs. Finally back to the Motel and to bed about 10:30 - tired.
